In this edition of “Jeengster Spotlight”, we’re excited to introduce one of our rockstar Client Success Managers, Shubhangi (Shub) Rathi!
Shubhangi has been a Client Success Manager at Jeeng since early-2021, but her career with us didn’t start there. Prior to this client-facing position, Shub was our Senior AdOps Manager.
Shub was born in India and grew up in a town called Pune, just outside of Mumbai. Before moving to the USA to pursue her Masters degree at NYU in 2013, she got her BE in Electronics and Telecom in India and worked at Accenture. After she graduated from NYU in 2015, she held project management positions at Coach and Viacom before joining PowerInbox — now Jeeng.
Shub now lives in Jersey City with a roommate and a famous Instagram cat named Olivia (Livvie) — @livvie_meow.
Let’s learn a bit more about Shub!
1. What do you love most about your role at Jeeng?
I love my role as Client Success manager because it is super client-facing. I’m the first point of contact for all the accounts that I manage, and I get to build strong client relationships, which is one of the best parts of my job. I love talking to people and getting to know them and getting their perspective on different things. I also love that I always know about everything that’s going on in Jeeng — new products, strategy, etc.
2. What advice do you have for someone also interested in that type of position?
If you are good at multitasking, balancing multiple projects, building relationships, and being proactive, then this job is for you!
3. What are some of your hobbies?
Traveling and playing badminton.
4. Favorite Jeeng event/memory/moment or favorite Jeeng swag
The Timbuktu bag from when the company was called PowerInbox — before the rebrand to Jeeng. It’s really big, but you can also roll it up so it becomes smaller.
5. What’s your favorite quote?
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do” – Steve Jobs.
6. One piece of advice you’d give your younger self?
Don’t settle. Keep trying and be consistent, even if things get difficult. It gets better with time.
7. What superpower would you choose, and why?
Teleportation – to be able to travel faster (so I can get food from India in the blink of an eye)
8. What’s your favorite place you’ve ever traveled to?
Svalbard, Norway (pictured below). It’s in the Arctic Circle and is the northernmost place people can go to in the world. I also loved Austria.
9. What’s your biggest guilty pleasure & why?
Sweets (especially chocolates). Yum yum!
10. What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Going to Antarctica!
