PowerInbox Launches Email2Cart, Helping Retailers Drive More Revenue through Email & 16% Higher Conversions

New Features Debut at Sold-Out Shoptalk 2018, Enabling Retailers to Connect with Customers, Optimize Email Personalization & Maximize ROI

NEW YORK (MARCH 19, 2018) — PowerInbox, the trusted email customer engagement partner for marketers, agencies and publishers, today announced the launch of its retail specific tools designed to increase online and in-store conversions.   These tools include progressive personalization, smart pricing and a new Email2Cart technology. In addition, PowerInbox uses customer websites as a data source to feed emails the most current information, like inventory and price.

PowerInbox is giving retailers the power to delight customers with an immersive, dynamic email experience with automated solutions that require less work but make more money by offering the next generation of in-flight email campaign optimization solutions.

“Retailers are hungry for tools that help them increase revenue and cut through channel clutter to reach the right customers with the right message at the right time,” said Jeff Kupietzky, CEO of PowerInbox. “PowerInbox does exactly that, providing dynamic, curated email content that drives engagement and traffic and builds long-term relationships with customers over a channel that audiences know and trust.”

Customers like Candy Club and IfOnly are already leveraging PowerInbox’s automated, smart content solution to continuously refine email offer personalization and deliver increasingly relevant messages to customers.

“At IfOnly, we’ve seen a lift in clickthroughs and overall engagement using PowerInbox tools in our emails. Countdown timers, video, fade, and Instagram components are now built into all of our templates,” said Nick Mohney, Director of Marketing at IfOnly. “We’re excited to implement dynamic content optimization (DCO) for more dynamic and personalized content based on our subscribers’ engagement.”

With the new Email2Cart feature, retailers can accelerate the path to purchase by giving customers one-touch buying power for instant gratification. Email2Cart eliminates the friction between the email offer and the web site, allowing customers to instantly add the featured product directly to the shopping cart for purchase. Shoppers can even choose colors, sizes and quantities within the email for a fast, convenient and seamless shopping experience.

Customers that have already tried Email2Cart, have seen an average of 16 percent increase in purchases and 13 percent increase in average order value.

Email2Cart is compatible with Oracle ATG through PowerInbox’s Oracle partnership, and Shopify, with integrations in the works for Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and NetSuite.

“Everyone keeps talking about how email is dead, but we’re here to prove that it’s anything but a dying channel,” commented Kupietzky. “In fact, it has proven to be the most effective channel for driving conversion and sales. Email2Cart is one of the most innovative additions to email marketing since dynamic content, and we’re thrilled to unveil it to the industry at Shoptalk.”
